About Stonebridge Recreation Center
Stonebridge Recreation Center offers youth, adults and older adults a variety of programs, including arts and crafts, beginner line dancing, chair fitness, luncheons, summer camps, Tai Chi, technology lectures, youth and 50+ karate, drop-in badminton and volleyball.

Available for Rent
The Stonebridge Recreation Center can be rented Friday-Sunday on a first-come, first-served basis. An hourly charge will be applied. The 5,000-plus-square-foot building contains an arts and crafts room and a multipurpose room. Call 804-768-7885 to check building availability. The Recreation Center Rental Form (PDF) must be completed and returned to the Stonebridge Recreation Center. Forms also are available at the building and can be mailed or emailed upon request. Rental must be approved before payment is accepted. Full payment is required at the time of the reservation. Payment options include cash (correct change required), check (payable to Treasurer of Chesterfield County), money order or credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
Rental Fees and Maximum Occupancy
Multipurpose Room
- Rental fees: Minimum of $200 for the first 4 hours ($40 per additional hour)
- Maximum occupancy: 90 (includes tables and chairs)
Two Small Classrooms
- Rental fees: Minimum of $95 for the first 4 hours ($35 per additional hour)
- Maximum occupancy: 25 (includes tables and chairs)
Police Officer Fee
Some events require that a paid police officer be present for the duration of the event, at an additional cost of $45 per hour.
Refunds
Refunds will be honored until 2 weeks before reservation date. Refunds must be requested in writing to the Bensley Recreation Center. A $25 processing fee is applied to all refunds. Refunds will not be granted for inclement weather unless the department closes the facility.
Adverse Weather Policy for Indoor Facilities
If Chesterfield County Schools are closed, all parks and recreation facilities will be closed and all activities will be canceled. If Chesterfield County Schools open late, all parks and recreation facilities will open at that designated time. All activities scheduled before opening will be canceled unless otherwise noted. If Chesterfield County Schools close early, all parks and recreation facilities will close at that designated time. Activities scheduled after the closing will be canceled.
Listen for closings and late openings on your local TV and radio stations.
Should adverse weather occur outside the Chesterfield County Public Schools schedule decisions to close or open late will be made by staff and information regarding the status of facilities or activities will be available by calling the appropriate facility phone number or the Parks and Recreation Department at 804-748-1623.
