Domestic Violence Task Force

Support Initiatives, Connect Members, Promote Safety, Justice and Healing

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic or sexual violence, the Chesterfield Domestic Violence Task Force (CDVTF) wants you to find the help you need.

The CDVTF is a coalition of unified professionals dedicated to providing leadership in addressing domestic violence in our community. 

Our Goals

  • To support initiatives and services promoting victim safety and offender accountability
  • To connect members to resources that aid in preventing and addressing domestic violence
  • To promote safety, justice and healing for those already affected by domestic violence

Professional Disciplines Involved

The task force includes representatives from public and private organizations, as well as individuals from the county. Professional disciplines involved include:

  • Victim Advocacy
  • Victim Service Providers

Cell Phone Donations

The CDVTF collects unwanted, old, used smartphones for the following purposes:

  • Given to domestic violence victims to dial 911
  • Recycled phones provide funds to assist domestic violence victims

Collection bins are located in all Chesterfield County Libraries. Also, at the Chesterfield County Government Complex, collection bins are located in the lobbies of the Lane B. Ramsey Administration Building and the Community Development Building.

The Chesterfield Domestic and Sexual Violence Resource Center is responsible for oversight of the CDVTF.
