    The Chesterfield Council on Aging seeks to enhance the quality of life for older adults and adults with disabilities through education, advocacy and community service. Meetings include a speaker on topics relevant to older adults, as well as reports from Council committees and activities. Topic: Senior Connections The Capital Area Agency on Aging, Public Comment Session for 4-year strategic plan. Senior Connections is updating its 4 -year Area Plan for Aging Services. The Agency will host a public comment session for input from the community about priorities, ideas for future directions and transportation needs. You are invited to attend this session and share your input. Please bring a friend or associate.

    To honor the victims and show support for the Virginia Beach community, Chesterfield is holding an observance on Friday, June 7 at 3:45 p.m. The 15 minute service will include a moment of silence, culminating in the ringing of the historic bell 12 times at 4 p.m. in front of the Historic 1917 Courthouse, 10011 Iron Bridge Road. Everyone is welcome to attend as a way to pay our respects and show support to our brothers and sisters in Virginia Beach.
