Station 08 Matoaca

About the Station

The village of Matoaca, one of the oldest in Chesterfield County, obtained its fire department through the efforts of its Civic League in 1950. A two-story, two-bay building was built. It still serves as part of the present fire station. Expansion over the years has taken the building to four bays and additional living quarters. The facility still serves as a focal point for activities in the community.
