About the Museum

The Chesterfield County Museum is a reproduction of the colonial courthouse of 1750. Exhibits include early Indian culture, artifacts from America's first iron and coal mines located in Chesterfield County, historic Civil War relics and a replica of an old General Store. A rotating exhibit space features different displays throughout the year.
