The Anger Management class is a psycho-educational group suited for first-time offenders who do not have a violent criminal history, situations involving intimate partners or patterns of ongoing abuse. Class details include:

  • This class is an eight hour class
  • The class fee is incorporated in the standard $150 probation supervision fee


Anger Management Program

The Anger Management Program is for offenders who experience frequent problems with communication,  easily angered, agitated, and frustrated resulting in violent behaviors. Class details include:

  • Offenders are referred to certified clinical service providers
  • Programs are typically 8 to 10 weeks in length
  • Fees include an initial assessment fee, followed by a weekly group fee


Domestic Violence Batterer's Intervention Program

The Batterer's Intervention Program is a state certified program for abuser who use violence as a means to obtain power and control over another individual. Class details include:

  • Participants include family and/or household members with focus on intimate partner relationships
  • Programs are a total of 36 hours, which is completed between 18 to 24 weeks
  • Required fees include initial assessment fee, followed by a weekly group fee
  • Termination from the program requires the offender to restart from the beginning
