CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police continue to investigate a fatal crash that occurred in the intersection of North Courthouse Road and Southlake Boulevard.
At around 7:26 p.m. on Oct. 14, police said, an adult female pedestrian was walking north in the right turn lane from North Courthouse Road onto Southlake Boulevard. The woman was struck by a Ford Focus that was attempting to turn right onto Southlake Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped. The pedestrian, identified as Sheryl Y. Vick, 53, of the 10800 block of Keithwood Parkway, was transported to an area hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
