CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are continuing to investigate an aggravated assault that occurred in the 10100 block of Krause Road on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
At about 6:00 p.m. on August 7, Chesterfield County Police responded to an office building on Krause Road for a report of an adult male who had been found on the floor with significant injuries to his face. The victim, a local attorney, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. His status has been upgraded to critical but stable.
At this point in the investigation, it does not appear that the victim was targeted due to his employment status as a lawyer. Police still do not have a suspect description.
