CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — With planned major maintenance of the Chesterfield County Public Meeting Room scheduled to begin on Thursday, July 25, next month’s meeting of the county Planning Commission has been moved to the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center.
The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for August 20 is the only county government meeting expected to be affected by the planned maintenance. Both the afternoon work session and evening session will be held at the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center, 6610 Public Safety Way, Chesterfield, VA 23832. Evening session begins at 6 p.m. The afternoon work session is at 3 p.m.
As part of the planned maintenance project, the HVAC system for the Public Meeting Room will be entirely replaced to make heating and cooling the space more efficient. The room will also be painted, and lighting will be replaced. This major maintenance project is expected to last approximately 30 days.
