The draft Midlothian Community Special Area Plan represents the community’s input and vision and serves as a roadmap for the future of Midlothian. It builds upon the unique qualities of the community, and overall goals and guidelines of the county’s comprehensive plan to meet the vision of the people that live, work and play in the area. The draft plan features high-quality design and maintains the village feel of the community while improving the transportation network to make it more pedestrian friendly and encouraging a variety of businesses and housing that accommodate a range of lifestyles.
