Aging & Disability Services
Date: April 16, 2019
It’s no secret that Chesterfield TRIAD’s mission is to serve and connect seniors, so it’s “Roaring into the Twenties” next month to celebrate the 20th Annual Senior Day.
On May 1, Chesterfield TRIAD will host this popular event, which features entertainment, fellowship and a wide variety of resource for senior citizens, at Victory Tabernacle Church. This year’s keynote speaker is Jessica Robison, public outreach coordinator with Chesterfield Emergency Management, who will discuss emergency preparedness for seniors.
Chesterfield TRIAD is a partnership between the county’s police department, sheriff’s office, parks and recreation, fire and EMS and aging and disability services departments, the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia and organizations within the community that serve older adults. The TRIAD offers seniors the chance to have a voice in their personal safety and provides an opportunity for them to socialize while learning ways to be safe in their daily lives.
The 20th Annual TRIAD Senior Day celebration will be held May 1, 8:15 a.m. – noon, at Victory Tabernacle Church, located at 11700 Genito Road. Buses and personal vehicles are welcome.
