CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating a pair of burglaries that occurred in the Bayhill Pointe subdivision on March 23 and March 28.
Between 11:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. on March 23, unknown suspects stole electronics, cash and firearms from a residence in the 11900 block of Penny Bridge Drive. A witness reported that three black males ran from behind the residence, placed items into a bright blue Subaru sedan and then fled the area in the vehicle.
At about 4:45 p.m. on March 28, a man returned to his residence in the 8300 block of Hillcreek Drive and saw a bright blue Subaru sedan parked on the street just past his driveway. The man reported that an unknown black male ran from behind his residence and got into the Subaru. A few moments later, two other unknown black males ran from behind the house and got into the vehicle, which then left the area. Cash was stolen from the house, and other items were found outside.
In both incidents, the suspect vehicle is described as a bright blue Subaru sedan. The vehicle did not have a front license plate, and it had what appeared to be a temporary rear license plate. The vehicle also reportedly had a loud, aftermarket exhaust system.
