Take notice that the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County, Virginia, at a regular meeting on April 24, 2019, commencing at 6 p.m., in the Public Meeting Room at 10001 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Virginia, will hold a public hearing to consider the enactment, pursuant to §15.2-2404, et. seq., Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, of an ordinance to establish the Cherrytree Lane Special Tax or Assessment Wastewater District, to construct certain wastewater facilities therein, and to impose certain taxes or assessments upon the owners of property located therein.
The proposed ordinance provides for the creation of the Cherrytree Lane Special Tax or Assessment Wastewater District, which contains three residential lots on Cherrytree Lane in the Midlothian Magisterial District. The District is depicted on the Map of the District referred to below. The ordinance further provides for the construction of certain wastewater facilities within the District, and for the imposition of certain taxes or assessments upon the owners of the property located within the District to fund the cost of constructing such wastewater facilities.
Enactment of this ordinance will result in special taxes or assessments against the owners of property located in the District. A list of the owners of property located in the District and of the amount of the special tax or assessment to be made against each owner is set forth below. Landowners may appear at the public hearing and, if they wish, show cause against the assessment. Copies of the ordinance and Map of the District are available for public viewing between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the Chesterfield County Administrator’s Office.
