Chesterfield County and the Virginia Department of Transportation have identified interim and long-term safety improvements to the Beach Road and Riverway Road intersection. A November 29 community meeting will provide Chesterfield residents information on the proposed improvements, answer questions, and obtain input.
Matoaca District Supervisor Kevin Carroll will host the meeting at Spring Run Elementary School, located at 13901 North Spring Run Road, from 7-8 p.m. Representatives from Chesterfield County and the Virginia Department of Transportation will be on hand as well.
The interim improvement is the installation of an all-way stop intersection and the proposed long-term improvement is a roundabout. Information about the intersection can be found at www.chesterfield.gov/transportation.
