CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of Olde Stonegate Road and Salisbury Road at about 5:40 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018.
Police said a 1994 U.S. Post Office Mail Truck rolled backwards off the shoulder of the road, struck a mailbox and came to rest in a landscape bed. The driver, Beverly L. Sublett, 54, was transported to an area hospital. Sublett, of the 10900 block of Poachers Run, died on Sunday, Nov. 25.
At this point, the investigation indicates that Sublett was experiencing a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
