CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police have arrested a man who broke into and vandalized Ironbridge Baptist Church located at 10900 Iron Bridge Road.
Police said at about 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, the suspect entered the church, destroyed Bibles, broke an interior window and spray-painted walls.
Surveillance images of the suspect were released to the public Wednesday afternoon. After further investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jacob R. Farnsworth, 25, of the 3000 block of Parkwood Avenue in Richmond
Detectives obtained warrants for Farnsworth for breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, and vandalism. On Monday, November 12, 2018, Farnsworth was located and arrested without incident.
Farnsworth is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
