Rezoning from R-7 to R-12 plus conditional use (farm, less than 3 acres; greenhouse, commercial retail; park, private; and, school, private) and conditional use planned development (lot standard and setback exceptions; use exceptions to permit the following uses: catering establishment; events, limited; office; outdoor public address system; recreational establishment, commercial indoor; recreational establishment, commercial-outdoor; and, outdoor, prepared food, fruit, and vegetable vendor). A residential development with agricultural features and community building and wellness components ("agrihood") is proposed.
On August 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., an in-person community meeting was held held to discuss pending Zoning Case 23SN0043 for 2600 Swineford Road. The applicant for this case, Maggie Walker Community Land Trust, is requesting to rezone the property from Residential (R-7) to Residential (R-12) plus conditional use planned development for exceptions to ordinance requirements.
This community meeting was held in-person at BizWorks Enterprise Center at 2545 Bellwood Road, North Chesterfield, Virginia 23237.
