[ARCHIVED] Adopt-A-Spot Volunteer

Position Description

The Keep Chesterfield Beautiful (KCB) team is looking for volunteers for their Adopt-A-Spot program. Organizations, businesses, individuals and volunteer groups are responsible for keeping certain areas litter-free. A spot may be a park, school grounds, libraries, parking lots, vacant lots, walkways, entry ways or any secured area.

You can make a difference by taking ownership of just a small piece of Chesterfield County as your adopted spot. The county will provide clean up supplies including garbage bags and reflective vests as needed. Litter filled bags are picked up along ditch line upon request. Additional volunteer tasks will include completing clean-up report forms. Help keep our community litter-free and adopt a spot today!

Shift is daylight to dawn.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age or have parental guidance if under 18. Must comply with all safety guidelines and sign appropriate agreements. Good communication skills necessary to work as part of a team and to complete paperwork. Great opportunity to make an environmental difference in Chesterfield County and to earn community service hours!
