Summary

Rezoning from Residential (R-7) to Community Business (C-3) to permit the reuse or redevelopment of the former Matoaca Fire Station.

On February 16, 2023, a virtual community meeting will be held to discuss pending Zoning Case 22SN0143 on Property located at 21502 Pickett Avenue.?The applicant for this case, Chesterfield County Planning Commission, has initiated a zoning application to rezone the Property from Residential (R-7) to Community Business (C-3) on 0.33 acres. Commercial reuse or redevelopment of the existing fire station is planned once the facility is vacated.  

This community meeting will be held in person beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Outreach Building at Matoaca United Methodist Church. The address for the Community Outreach Building is 6211 Fitzhugh Street, South Chesterfield, VA 23803.
