Chesterfield County receives allocations of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) funding and through an annual application process, awards the funding to nonprofit organizations or governmental departments that are undertaking eligible projects or programs to address community needs related to housing and community development.
Chesterfield County’s Department of Community Enhancement held an information session Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, to share how different entities can apply for funds. Organizations throughout the community — including project:HOMES and other groups devoted to helping to foster expanded accessibility to affordable housing — attended.
