Summary
Conditional use to permit an above ground utility structure (water storage tank) plus conditional use planned development for exceptions to height limitations for a water tank in a residential area. The proposed water tank will be approximately 147 feet in height and will replace an existing water tank which is nearing the end of its useful life.
On March 1, 2023, a virtual community meeting will be held to discuss pending Zoning Case 22SN0126 for 6225 and 6301 Hopkins Road. The applicant for this case, the Chesterfield County Utilities Department, is requesting conditional use for a water tank plus conditional use planned development for exceptions to height limits for water tanks in residential areas and to be able to co-locate a communications antenna on the top of the water tank.
This community meeting will be held at virtually on Microsoft Teams and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
