The Department of Communications and Media is launching a new weekly video segment called This Week In Chesterfield, which will highlight things to do around the county.
Each Monday, the one- to two-minute video will point residents to the fun, exciting, and interesting things going on around their community. The segment, which will be directed by Matt Neese and feature rotating hosts from within the department, will share information on what events are taking place and where residents will want to be.
“We think this new segment is a great addition to our video production lineup and will serve the residents of Chesterfield well,” said Susan Pollard, Director of Communications and Media. “Through our various other products, we have always shared the kinds of things that will be featured in these weekly videos. But this video segment will be a guide for things to do in the immediate future. We really think the weekly nature of the events we focus on will be a real benefit to Chesterfield and complement our other products well.”
This Week In Chesterfield joins a host of other content produced by Communications and Media, including the e-newsletter, the Chesterfield On Point Chesterfield On Point blog, and the Chesterfield Behind the Mic video podcast.
Each weekly installment of This Week In Chesterfield, which launches on Tuesday, Sept. 6 before falling into its weekly slot on Mondays, can be found on the Chesterfield County YouTube channel.
