CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – On June 3 at around 9:38 p.m. Chesterfield County Police were called to the area of Weybridge Road for reports of shots fired. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that a total of six people were shot, one fatally, and two others suffered non-firearm related injuries.
When officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound and attempted to render emergency aid to him. That male subsequently died at the scene. As police continued to investigate, they discovered that five other shooting victims had been transported to either area hospitals or other locations with non-life-threatening wounds to be treated.
