CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested Teil S. Brown, 19, of the 300 block of Karl Linn Drive, for attempted robbery, assault, breaking and entering, vandalism and trespassing for his involvement in two separate incidents on Oct. 6, 2018.
At about 9:40 a.m. on Oct. 6, 2018, police responded to a reported assault and attempted robbery in the 6900 block of Amster Road. Upon arrival, police were advised a male suspect had assaulted two victims and attempted to steal a ring from one of them. The suspect then fled.
While police were at that scene trying to locate the suspect, police were called to the 300 block of Starview Lane for a report that a suspect had been shot after he broke into a residence. When police arrived, they found the suspect, who had been shot in the foot; this man was identified as the same suspect from the first call for service. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was later identified as Brown. He is being held without bond pending a court appearance on Oct. 9, 2018.
