CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a crash that occurred in the 6500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy at about 8:57 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17.
Police said the driver of a dark colored sedan was traveling northbound in the 6500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy when they struck a pedestrian who was walking southbound in the northbound lane. The driver of the sedan did not stop and continued northbound on Jefferson Davis Hwy. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
