Rodriguez Cleanup - April 2022

Rodriguez Cleanup 4.23.22 - Highlight

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Community Enhancement partnered with Route One Association for Revitalization (ROAR) and the Mid-Cities Civic Association to organize a community cleanup. Residents of Mid-Cities placed unwanted bulky items to the curb for disposal. After a successful community cleanup at Mid-Cities, Ms. Rodriguez, a resident of the community, needed additional assistance with disposing a large pile of brush in her yard. A collaboration led by neighborhood leader Ed Hall resulted in disposing the brush pile that measured 20 feet long, 8 feet wide and 4 feet high. A Mid-Cities neighbor experienced in working with a chainsaw cut the larger pieces of wood and brought them to the curb. The Sherriff’s Workforce then loaded their trucks and hauled the brush to the Southern Area Convenience Center of Chesterfield County. Thank you to all who assisted in supporting Ms. Rodriguez and bettering our communities!
