CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run that occurred in the 600 Block of Chinaberry Drive at about 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 30.
The female victim, Selene Galvan-Santos, 30, of the 7500 Block of Marbrett Drive was walking down the roadway when a vehicle struck her. The striking vehicle is described as a dark colored foreign made sedan with a partial license plate containing the numbers “417”. Galvan-Santos was transported to Chippenham Hospital where she later died.
The investigation has revealed that unknown persons had driven through the area of this crash immediately after it occurred. Investigators are interested in speaking with these unknown persons and they are urged to contact police.
