To qualify, nominees must be at least 60 years old and reside in Chesterfield County. Volunteer service performed by the nominees may have been performed outside the county, but only service performed after the nominee turned 60 is considered during the nomination process. Only individuals, not couples or groups, will be considered.

Nominations are due by Friday, April 1, 2022 and the form may be filled out and submitted online at: https://www.chesterfield.gov/200/Senior-Volunteer-Hall-of-Fame.

The Senior Volunteer Hall of Fame is managed by the Department of Citizen Information and Resources’ Office of Aging and Disability Services, the Chesterfield Council on Aging and the Senior Volunteer Hall of Fame Committee. It was founded by Dorothy Charles in 1982 through her work with the Senior Council and the Board of Supervisors. Since then, nominees have ranged in age from 60 to 95 years of age.
