CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested two suspects in relation to a shooting that occurred in the 6500 block of Watchrun Court on Oct. 2, 2021.
At about 12:12 a.m. on Oct. 2, police responded to a residence on Watchrun Court for a reported armed burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim who had been shot. The victim reported that an unknown male entered the residence, shot him and took items from the house and other residents. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries; he has since been released from the hospital.
Through investigation, detectives determined two suspects, identified as Semaj T. Davis, 19, and Reginald A. Lewis, 19, were involved in the incident. On Thursday, Dec. 9, both Davis, of the 7800 block of Beach Road, and Lewis, of the 11200 block of Chester Garden Circle, were arrested. Both were charged with aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of robbery, burglary while armed, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony. Davis and Lewis are currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
