Wear your purple and join us in front of the historic courthouse at noon on Monday, Oct. 1, as we kick off a month of activities to raise awareness of domestic violence, its victims and its impact. Following a brief program, including remarks by Laura Wooton and Beth Taylor, the daughters of Carolyn Miller, we’ll take a group photo and enjoy refreshments. Purple ribbon lapel pins ($5) and raffle tickets to win a pair of
movie passes ($1/each or $5/seven) will be available for purchase. Proceeds will support the The Carolyn Miller Memorial Fund.
