Chesterfield Registrar Reminds Citizens to Register to Vote Today

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Chesterfield is reminding residents who want to vote in this year’s General Election to register with the county’s Registrar’s Office, located at 9848 Lori Road, by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12. 

Residents also have until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 to register online at www.vote.virginia.gov.  

Existing registered voters should also make sure any changes to their addresses and any name changes are updated by the Oct. 12 deadline. 

In-person early voting will continue at the county’s Registrar’s Office through Saturday, Oct. 30. The office, located 9848 Lori Road, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and will be open the two Saturdays (Oct. 23 and Oct. 30) before the General Election from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. 

Additionally, Chesterfield will open five early voting satellite locations starting Monday, Oct. 18 at the following locations: 

North Courthouse Road Library

325 Courthouse Road, North Chesterfield

LaPrade Library

9000 Hull Street Road, North Chesterfield

Meadowdale Library

4301 Meadowdale Blvd, North Chesterfield

Ettrick-Matoaca Library

4501 River Road, South Chesterfield

Clover Hill Library 

6701 Deer Run Drive, Midlothian 


Each satellite voting location will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the two Saturdays before the General Election (Oct. 23 and Oct. 30) from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 Voters can also drop off their voted mail ballots at any satellite voting location or the registrar’s office during voting hours.
