CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested a suspect in relation to a shooting that occurred in the 2800 block of E. Hundred Road on Sept. 30, 2021.
At about 5:40 p.m. on Sept. 30, the victim was driving in the 2800 block of E. Hundred Road when a silver Nissan sedan pulled alongside the passenger side of her vehicle. The driver of the Nissan fired a single shot, which struck the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe the victim and suspect were involved in a road rage incident prior to the shooting.
Through investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Sean M. Jolley, 22, of the 400 block of Mars Street in Petersburg. On Tuesday, Oct. 5, Jolley was arrested and charged with felonious assault, shooting at an occupied vehicle and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
