Voters Urged to Disregard Incorrect Registrar’s Phone Number on Absentee Ballot Instructions

Absentee ballot correct number (2)

Chesterfield County Registrar's Office

Sept. 21, 2021

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Registered Chesterfield County voters who requested an absentee ballot are being asked to disregard the telephone phone number listed on instructions accompanying their ballot.

The telephone number listed as the Chesterfield County General Registrar’s Office is incorrect.

County voters who need assistance or have questions about their absentee ballot should call 804-748-1471 instead of the number listed in the instructions.

New instructions with the correct telephone number are being mailed to county voters requesting an absentee ballot.

Please note, while the instructions included with the absentee ballot may be incorrect, the mail ballot is not affected and can be returned using the provided envelope. It can also be dropped-off in person at the registrar’s office during early voting from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 9848 Lori Road in Chesterfield.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
