CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Residents and businesses now have a new online resource to communicate with Chesterfield County of their concerns and provide general feedback.
The county recently launched its Public Portal for Concerns and Assistance webpage as a new resource. Chesterfield residents and businesses can access a variety of topic areas in one convenient location – making it easier to report potential abuse of county resources, and submit concerns, complaints or feedback.
The new portal also includes avenues for residents to submit general county comments and feedback and requests for public records.
Once a category has been selected, patrons are directed to provide details for reporting the incident, comment, request or concern, and may submit their name and contact information. Any supporting material, such as photos or documents, can also be uploaded into the portal.
Citizens are reminded in the event of an emergency, or to report a crime in progress, to immediately call 9-1-1.
Any information submitted will immediately be delivered to the proper county department, law enforcement division or utilities agency.
County employees have the responsibility to protect people’s private information, as well as abiding by the county’s Code of Ethics policy.
