CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Guardians with rising 7th and 12th graders are encouraged to get their children vaccinated during a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Midlothian this week.

Starting this week, adolescent clinics will be held each Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rockwood Vaccination Center at the former Big Lots store in the Rockwood Square Shopping Center located at 10161 Hull Street Road.

The clinics will serve as a free adolescent immunization clinic for rising 7th through 12th  graders.   During this time, the clinic will offer the Tdap, Meningococcal and HPV vaccines in addition to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 12 and older, as well as COVID 19 vaccinations for any interested persons.  A parent or guardian must accompany the adolescents. Please bring your immunization records with you.

Ongoing COVID 19 clinics for the Rockwood Vaccination Center will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15 (today); Thursday, June 17 and on Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. A parent or guardian must accompany all adolescents under the age of 18.

The Pfizer vaccine is given in two doses, while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is given in a single dose. Attendees will be given an appointment card to receive their 2nd Pfizer vaccination in 21 days.

Additional clinics in Chesterfield this week include a second dose only Pfizer clinic from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church located at 4400 Beulah Road.
