At the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors meeting on May 26, the Parks and Recreation Department was recognized for awards received from the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials (NACPRO).
The Parks and Recreation Department received two awards:
“I’m extremely proud of our team’s innovative programming and commitment to promoting diversity and understanding within the community,” said Bob Smet, Parks and Recreation director.The department has been honored by NACPRO with eight additional awards over the last five years.
