CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are seeking a man who attempted to rob the First Citizens Bank at 13101 Midlothian Turnpike on Monday, Aug. 13. No one was injured during the incident.
At about 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 13, police said, a man entered the bank, approached an employee and passed a note demanding money. Another employee, who was unaware of the note, asked the man to remove his sunglasses. The man then took the note and left the bank without receiving any cash. The suspect was seen walking toward the nearby American Family Fitness.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 20-30 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He had a goatee and was wearing a black wig, a long-sleeved white shirt, sunglasses and a red backpack.
