CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Since many residents are without power due to the severe weather from this weekend’s ice storm, Chesterfield County is opening two libraries to serve as warming and power locations.
Chesterfield’s Central and North Courthouse Road libraries will be open today from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 14. Citizens who may not have power can visit these libraries to stay warm and charge their phones, laptops, and other small electronics.
Library visitors should remember to bring their mask. Facial coverings must be worn when visiting the library.
The address for the two libraries serving as warming and power locations on Feb. 14 are as follows:
- Central, 7051 Lucy Corr Boulevard, Chesterfield
- North Courthouse Road, 325 Courthouse Road, Richmond
