CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating a domestic related shooting that occurred in the 1500 block of River Tree Drive.
At about 10:49 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, police responded to a report that three adult females were shot at inside their vehicle following a domestic related incident. No injuries occurred during this incident and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The suspect, Thomas A. Bridges III, 31, 1400 block of N. 23rd Street in Richmond, was taken into custody in the 14600 block of Ramblewood Drive at about 12:22 a.m. on October 31, 2020. Bridges has been charged with three counts of attempted malicious wounding, felon in possession of a firearm, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, robbery, and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Additionally, Keyavonte Crawford, 28, of the 2400 block of Coles Street in Richmond, was taken into custody and charged with accessory after the fact for her involvement. Both subjects are currently being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail.
