The Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors recognized the Parks and Recreation Department for awards received from the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials (NACPRO) at its Aug. 26 meeting. However, award winners were first announced by NACPRO on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
The Parks and Recreation Department received two awards:
“Our department is thrilled and humbled to receive recognition for the work we do,” said Dr. James Worsley, Parks and Recreation director. “The department has been honored by NACPRO with six additional awards over the last four years.”
