[ARCHIVED] Johnny Partin and AJ Eavey Join the Anti-Litter Campaign

ANTI LITTER CAMPAIGN

Johnny and AJ are passionate about keeping Chesterfield clean. Their cleanup initiative on Kingston Avenue and Okuma Drive was successful but it took two separate days to accomplish their mission. The duo could not believe the items that were deposited on the roadside and ditches.

Johnny and AJ have agreed that more cleanup events need to be scheduled to completely clear the area of litter and debris. They have a message for all citizens of Chesterfield County…Please do your part in keeping the county clean by putting trash in its proper place.

To join the county’s anti-litter campaign, contact Pam Cooper, Department of Community Enhancement, cooperp@chesterfield.gov or call 804-751-2227.

(Johnny and AJ picked up 200 pounds of litter, 1 mattress, 2 tires, large pieces of cardboard and heavy pieces of particle board).
