Rebuilding Together and Chesterfield CDBG

Mold Statement

Ms KathieMs. Kathie Adams and her sister Emily Davis inherited their home from their mother when she passed away in 2011. Ms. Adams has experienced a great deal of loss with passing of her mother and her son. She had a career as an LPN, but due to her recent loss she decided to step away from the workforce in order to focus on her well-being. She loves caring for people and is very much looking forward to returning to her career. Ms. Adams faith is her driving force and she is very appreciative of the work that RTR was able to complete. She is hoping the changes in her home will be the motivation she needs to get back on track. Although Ms. Kathie did not qualify for RTR’s Contractor Program, in collaboration with the volunteer team from Richmond Window Corp, Rebuilding Together Richmond was able to serve Ms. Kathie and her family with free home repairs through their Volunteer Program, including mold remediation and all newly installed windows to her home!
