Another successful Fall Fix-Up is in the books! In October of 2019, more than 200 rebuilders from various local organizations spent hours helping our neighbors in South Chesterfield in need by repairing homes and community spaces. Projects this year ranged from minor repairs and painting, to completely rebuilding decks, replacing windows, and installing ramps. Many of our neighbors have lived in their homes for decades, and want nothing more than the ability to stay warm, safe, and dry. Thanks to all of the community partners who made this year’s Fall Fix-Up program possible, and to Chesterfield County for their CDBG funding that allowed for a greater, deeper impact of these repairs to provide long lasting improvements to the homes of Chesterfield homeowners.
