CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred near the 4600 block of Commonwealth Centre Parkway; no one was injured.
At about 2:35 p.m. on December 5, 2019 police responded to the Target parking lot for reports of shots fired. As officers investigated, they discovered that an altercation had occurred between an adult male Rayjhon Braxton and an adult female Brittany Miller. Police determined that Ms. Miller fired a gun during the incident.
Rayjhon Braxton, 22, of the 4000 block of Hailey Crescent Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held without bond. Brittany Miller, 21, of the 13600 block of Winterberry Road, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and reckless handling of a firearm. She is also being held without bond.
