CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police continue to investigate a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in the 6500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 5:03 p.m. on Monday, December 2.
Police said the driver of a 2001 Honda Accord was traveling south on Jefferson Davis Highway when it struck Eusebio Pacheco, 87, who was attempting to cross the road. Pacheco, of the 6200 block of Daleshire Drive, was transported to an area hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene.
