Join Richmond Executive-Chesterfield County Airport for a free, family-friendly open house and movie night on Saturday, Oct. 1. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the Disney movie "Planes," rated PG, will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the airport runway (or inside in case of rain). Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. From aviation lovers to plane enthusiasts to those who want to come out for a fun, family movie night, this unique event provides something for everyone!

Prior to the movie, the event will include aircraft and apparatus displays from Chesterfield Fire and EMS, Police and Sheriff's Office, Virginia Department of Aviation, and Virginia State Police MedFlight 1. Local aviation organizations will also have displays and activities for those who attend.

Local food trucks also will be on site including Elite Treats & Eats, Hellenic Kouzina Greek Cafe, Kabamm Food Truck and Mister Softee. Free popcorn and water will be available during the movie while supplies last.

Please note: no pets, outside food, drinks or glassware will be allowed.
