All are welcome to join the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia to honor our veterans who have served on Friday, Nov. 11 from 2-3 p.m. Representatives of veterans’ organizations throughout Chesterfield and surrounding counties have been invited to lay wreaths along the Veterans Memorial Wall in front of the historic 1917 Courthouse.

The ceremony is free, and members of the public are encouraged to participate. Speakers and performers will include:

• Chris Winslow, U.S. Navy veteran and chair of Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors, will provide remarks to veterans and attendees.
• Major General Craig Crenshaw, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.), Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, will offer greetings.
• The Honorable Glenn Youngkin Governor, State of Virginia will deliver remarks.
• Thomas Dale High School Band, Thomas Dale High School Choir and St. Augustine's Catholic Church Choir will present musical salutes to the veterans.

Due to predicted inclement weather, the program will be held at the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center, 6610 Public Safety Way, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
