50th Anniversary Event: History of Rockwood Park

Did you know Rockwood Park used to be the site of not one, but two, different mills? Have you ever wondered about the large hole on the orange trail and why it is there? As the oldest park in Chesterfield, Rockwood has quite a story to tell. This program will start at the nature center and briefly discuss the progression of the building that exists now before heading back into the woods and uncovering some of the hidden secrets behind the history of Rockwood Park and its trails. For ages 10+, anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
