Chesterfield Triad Meeting

Thursday, July 18, 2019

Triad is a nationwide program that strives to educate seniors and caregivers about programs, services, techniques and systems that help prevent crime against seniors and improve their quality of life. Chesterfield Triad is a partnership among the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office, Police Department, Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, Aging and Disability Services, member organizations, agencies and the community who share Triad's goals.

Chesterfield County Officer Hunter Price, Animal Services Unit, will be our guest speaker. Pets are more than just animals—they are family! We need to have an emergency plan for them like any other member of the household. Even if you do not have a pet at this time, you may wish to share this resource information with your neighbors and friends. The information is also relevant to caregivers, caseworkers and concerned family members of elders with pets. This Emergency Preparedness program will include a review of items you need in your pet’s emergency kit as well as how to properly plan for them in times of disaster.
