This new department merges the services of staff in Youth Planning and Development, the Senior Advocate’s office, Access Chesterfield, the multicultural liaison and others. The Department will help residents connect to the community and access resources they need throughout their life.

Adolescent Reporting Program
The Adolescent Reporting Program provides a community-based detention alternative for youths who violate their terms of probation or who commit new crimes while on probation.

Aging & Disability Services
Aging and Disability Services, created in May 2003, is Chesterfield County's leading resource for older adults and individuals with physical and sensory disabilities.

Community Engagement and Volunteerism

Comprehensive Services
Comprehensive Services is a state mandated inter-agency program that provides needed services to children and families in the community.

Government Citizens Academy
Chesterfield County values civic engagement and opportunities for residents to learn about their local government. Through interactive sessions and optional tours of facilities, residents will get a comprehensive look at how and why programs and services are provided.

Multicultural Services
Chesterfield County welcomes those from other countries who decide to make this their new home. The county’s multicultural liaison assists and educates the county’s growing diverse population, as well as English-speaking residents who may need assistance with obtaining county services, programs, activities and benefits.

Youth Services provides resource information for county youths and families and leads collaborative initiatives that engage the community in promoting the safety, well-being and success of Chesterfield County youths.
